Some time between 16.00 hrs on 26/5/18 and 09.00 hrs on 27/5/18, unknown offender(s) have accessed a metal garden shed in Maud Road, Water Orton and stolen 2 x mountain bikes. Nighthawking

Two Offenders Caught Illegal Metal Detecting

On Sunday 29th April, two males were found to be on private land, in North Warwickshire, without permission, in possession of metal detecting equipment without authority.
They were interviewed for the offence of going equipped to steal and in agreement with the landowner a community resolution order was served.
Nighthawking (illegal metal detecting) is a crime and will be dealt with accordingly by the Police.

Warning Regarding Illegal Fishing

A number of incidents have been reported regarding people fishing on the River Blythe, near Coleshill in the last few days.
Fisherman are reminded that :
Rivers, streams, drains or waterways (other than canals)
You can’t fish for coarse fish on rivers from the 15 March to 15 June – included.
Action will be taken against anyone caught fishing in these dates or fishing without a licence.
