The meeting centred around a brieing of the new Community Messaging Service led by Julie Dale from Warwickshire Police.
After discussion about the relative strengths and perceived weaknesses of the new system we went on to cover the usual agenda points.
Other points which arose included the lack of community confidence in anything computer-based, and the use of social media to improve police support from the community.
